The death has occurred of George Mortimer of Shrule, Co. Mayo/The Crescent Green, Galway/Green Park Nursing Home, Tuam, Co. Galway.
It is with deep sadness we announce the death of George Mortimer in Green Park Nursing Home, Tuam, Co. Galway on Saturday morning September the 5th 2026. He will be forever loved and deeply missed by his brothers Dermot, Oliver, Stan and Austin; sisters Helen and Loretta, nephews, nieces, cousins, extended family, friends and the staff of Green Park Nursing Home.
Predeceased by his brother Frank and parents George and Evelyn.
The family would like to express their gratitude for the loving care George received in Green Park Nursing Home.

Reposing at Cradock’s Funeral Home, Shrule (H91 RF1C) on Sunday September the 6th from 6pm to 8pm. Removal afterwards to St. Joseph’s Church, Shrule (H91 V2FK). Requiem Mass on Monday September the 7th at 12 noon. Burial afterwards in Shrule cemetery.
