Gortnara, Claremorris, Co. Mayo and formerly of Togher, Tuam, Co. Galway – peacefully, with his family by his side in the care of the wonderful staff of St. Enda’s, University Hospital, Galway .
Predeceased by his parents and baby son Michael John.
Padraig was very deeply loved and will be sadly missed by his devoted wife Carmel, his children Patrick, Peter and Mary (Regan) and his cherished grandchildren Mary Louise, Kaytlyn, Racheal, Christopher, Louise, Daniel, Padraic, Joe, Elisha, Danielius and May. His daughters-in-law, Breda and Teresa, son-in-law Seosamh and Peter’s partner Elizabeth. He will also be missed by his heartbroken sister Teasai (Teresa Dunne, Athenry and London), his brother Joe (Togher), best friend and brother-in-law Michael Fahy (Milltown), sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces and nephews, his cousins the Treacy family, Spiddal, relatives, wonderful neighbours and friends

Padraig will repose in Gilligan’s Funeral Home, Market Square, Claremorris (F12YP74) on Monday evening, the 7thSeptember from 6pm-7:30pm. Padraig’s funeral cortege will arrive for mass in the Church of Our Lady, Barnacarroll at 1pm on Tuesday, 8th September with burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.
