Love Island stars Sean Fitzgerald and Lola Deal
Lola Deal and Séan Fitzgerald are settled in Ireland.
After finding love in Love Island, the duo have been going from strength to strength. Lola left Kent and relocated to Galway.
Speaking to VIP Magazine, she tells us: “I’ve officially moved over about three weeks ago. I’ve been having the best time ever. We’ve done so much.
“I love it. It’s so nice. We’re mainly in Galway, which is a lovely seaside town. So it’s like home away from home. That’s really nice. Everyone is so lovely. But I don’t like the weather.”

Fitzy adds that they’ve done plenty of sightseeing, including heading to the Aran Islands and making an appearance at the iconic Galway Races.
Not only are they exploring Ireland, but they are also working tirelessly.
“We were up late the other night filming stuff for Celebrity Gogglebox. We’re all over the place. There are some things that we can’t say at the minute. We have an Irish management, but we’ve just signed with a new English one. So we have two on the go, which will open more doors for us,” the Galway man reveals.
“We can’t talk about everything but you’ll see soon enough.”

Lola definitely faced a lot of online backlash during her time on the show, with viewers of the reality series calling her controlling and even accusing her of lying about her job.
However, she tells us that everyone in person has been so lovely to her, and that she’s not paying attention to online hate anymore.
“We’re always getting stopped in the street. We were going up Shop Street to buy her runners because we wanted to go play some padel. It took an hour and a half. You need to out the head down and go,” Fitzy says with a laugh.
“It’s just one person who comes over and then everyone starts coming over. But it’s so lovely. We get so many lovely messages and people send us the pictures we take together. It’s really cute,” Lola adds.
As for the online aspect, she says: “It didn’t really phase me too much. Everyone we’ve met in person has been so lovely. Even the online stuff has died down. Even towards the end of the show it had died down, which was really good. No one really says anything anymore. It’s been a hot minute. We just take the piss out of it.”
Always eager to show off his cheeky side, the former primary school teacher says: “Like her being a dictator. It was my idea for her to walk me like a dog, which is funny. The Irish get the humour.”
However, one thing that we won’t be seeing online is those infamous animal impressions!
“I am retired from the animal impressions. I’ve got a girlfriend now, I can’t be doing that, I can’t be turning on any other women, only Lola,” he jokes.
“Back then, we weren’t official, so it was okay. Now we’re official; I can’t be doing them. I’ll do them for Lola, obviously, in the bedroom. She doesn’t ask for it too often, but it’s always an option.”
He adds that he would have loved for more of his personality to be seen during his stint on Love Island, but he is glad he can show it off on social media now.
“I just wish people got to see more of that on Love Island because I was like that. But no one got to see it. I suppose, they only showed drama and that kind of stuff. But I think from seeing all of the TikToks people have seen what I’m actually like. Now they get to endure it, I wouldn’t say enjoy it!”
