BLUE ASH, Ohio (WKRC) – The Ohio attorney general has sued a business forever linked with the TV show “Seinfeld”.
J Peterman operated a store and warehouse on Creek Road in Blue Ash. It specialized in unique clothing and accessories. The business also operated under territoryahead.com.
The lawsuit accuses the company of not responding to numerous complaints from customers.
The suit alleges many customers ordered items but never received them and were unable to get refunds.
The state says J Peterman violated consumer protection laws by failing to fulfill orders, refusing or delaying refunds and cutting off customer service communications.
The legal action asks the court for monetary damages and to prohibit the defendants from engaging in business as suppliers in any customer transaction in the state of Ohio.
Websites for the businesses say they are no longer taking orders.
