Alt, Dooyork, Geesala and formerly of Holyoke, MA – peacefully, after a long and bravely fought battle with cancer, at Mayo University Hospital, surrounded by her loving family, on the 9th of September.
Predeceased by her parents, Michael and Molly Mangan; her brothers, John, Pat and Richard; her sisters, Mawjoe Glasheen and Bridie Gallagher; and her brothers-in-law, Eddie Gallagher and Wayne Poirier.
Beloved mother of Mary (Pat) and Michael.
Annie will be sadly missed by her sisters, Nora (Ardmore) and Teresa (USA); her cherished grandchildren, Eileen, Annie (Rachel), John (Shannon); and great-granddaughter, Nora; her brothers-in-law, Tom Glasheen and Antony Togher; nephews; nieces; her cousins, Nora Gallagher and Martina O’Boyle; and her wonderful neighbours and friends.
Annie will be reposing at McDonnell’s Funeral Home, Belmullet on Saturday evening between 5pm and 7pm.
The Funeral will arrive at St. Colmcille’s Church, Geesala at 8pm.
Funeral Mass on Sunday at 12.30pm with burial afterwards in Geesala Cemetery.
