The honeymoon phase is far from over for Travis Kelce.
The NFL star, who married Taylor Swift over the summer in a ceremony at Madison Square Garden, opened up more about the high-profile nuptials during a preview of his upcoming ESPN interview with Chris Berman.
Swift and Kelce tied the knot at the iconic New York City venue on July 3. The star-studded wedding featured a bevy of A-list guests, including Ed Sheeran, Gigi Hadid and Bradley Cooper, Tom Cruise, Adam Sandler and Zoë Kravitz.
“Marrying Taylor was more than I could have ever dreamed it to be because of all the people that showed up,” Kelce, 36, said, according to footage obtained by “Entertainment Tonight.” “And the amount of, you know, love that was in the air.”

Kelce’s Kansas City Chiefs teammate Patrick Mahomes, who also appeared in the interview, shared the sentiment.

“My perspective, it was a lot of fun,” Mahomes, 30, said. “I did a little dancing. And I didn’t know if I was going to be able to dance, so it was good to get my first dancing experience of the offseason.”

While Kelce and Swift’s megawatt nuptials have generated headlines, details from the ceremony are scant, as photos and videos of the event have yet to be released.
The wedding was officiated by the pair’s friend, actor and comedian Adam Sandler. Kelce and Swift did not have traditional bridesmaids or groomsmen. Instead, Swift’s brother, Austin Swift, served as her man of honor, while Kelce’s brother, Jason Kelce, was his best man.
Kelce’s latest comments come a week after the Chiefs tight end reflected on the ceremony during the season premiere of his podcast “New Heights,” where he revealed the couple’s inspiration for choosing Madison Square Garden as their wedding venue.

“We wanted to do it somewhere where we could have a very intimate and genuine setting without a lot of distractions. And we needed it to be a private feel,” Kelce said. “And MSG went above and beyond to give us that.”
Kelce’s full ESPN interview is set to air on Monday, Sept. 14.
