The death has occurred of Jerry Mc Carthy, Murphy’s Terrace, Kanturk and late of Glencarney, Rockchapel who passed away peacefully after a brief illness at Marymount Hospice Cork on 11 th September 2026. Sadly missed by his partner Ann Brady, his children Timmy, Barbara, Dorothy and Jerry, Anne’s family Amanda, Carol, Louise, Michelle and Siobhan, his 12 grandchildren, godchildren, extended family, relatives and friends.
Requiescat in pace
Lying in repose at O’Callaghan’s Funeral Parlour, Kanturk on Sunday from 6pm to 7pm followed by prayers. Reception into the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Kanturk on Monday for Requiem Mass at 12 noon . Funeral afterwards to the Island Crematorium, Ringaskiddy.
The family wish to thank all the staff at Ward 4D at CUH and all the staff at Marymount Hospice for the exceptional care given to Jerry during his stay there, it was greatly appreciated.
