Honor will launch the Watch 6 Pro in China on September 28. An official teaser offers the first look at the smartwatch, showing two versions built around a circular case, numbered bezel and two physical controls on the right side.
The sportier model has a dark finish, yellow strap and matching bezel accents, while the more formal version pairs a polished silver case with a brown leather strap and an analogue-style dial. Both feature a crown with a red accent, along with what Honor describes as nano-microcrystalline ceramic glass.
The Watch 6 Pro will also be Honor’s first wearable with a dedicated cardiac arrest monitoring system. Honor says the feature will track heart activity and proactively warn users during emergencies, but it has not yet explained exactly how it works. Reports suggest it could use the PPG sensor and accelerometer to detect a loss of heartbeat and trigger an alert, though this remains unconfirmed.
Honor previously introduced anti-sudden cardiac arrest risk screening on the Watch GS 5, but the Watch 6 Pro appears set to take the feature further. It will also offer continuous blood pressure monitoring through Honor’s Smart Eye Sensing system. Reservations are already open through Honor Mall, Tmall and JD.com, with pricing and full specifications due at launch.
