They must show the beauty and peace in nature as a positive thing rather than anything about violence and the past. The past is past, but the future is bright.”The composer also revealed that he wishes to perform in the valley in the future. “I want to come and perform here. Yes, we have some plans, and we are talking,” he said, adding that he wants greater collaboration between Bollywood musicians and Kashmiri folk artistes, saying the region has immense potential in traditional and folk music.Referring to the inaugural International Film Festival of Jammu & Kashmir (IFFJK), which took place from September 7-10, Rahman said, “Kashmir is a beautiful place. Having an international film festival here is commendable.””I wish this film festival grows and becomes really famous and that a lot of people would come here and enjoy the hospitality of the Kashmiri people and the Indian government. We go to Amsterdam and London for film festivals. I wish Kashmir becomes a festival place in India,” he added.
