Laura Hanlon from Co Roscommon was crowned Best Dressed at The Curragh’s final style competition of 2026.
Judged by Mayo content creator Sarah Butler of Sarah Butler at Home and renowned stylist and broadcaster Marietta Doran, Grace & Glory invited participants to express their “own unapologetic sense of style” while taking on the “bold spirit of Grace O’Malley“.
In the end, the judges selected Hanlon’s daring red look, which came with some impressively sustainable accessories.

The designer wore a three-piece ensemble from Phoenix V in Cork, paired with shoes that she sourced from Vinted for just €4.
Most impressively, she made her statement headpiece and bag especially for the day. The red scalloped bag was made from a box of Nature Valley bars that was destined for the recycling bin.

As well as the coveted title of Best Dressed, Laura was awarded a stay at The Grace, Westport Estate – including two nights’ bed and breakfast in the Grace Kelly Suite, à la carte dining with champagne at Black Sheep, two signature spa treatments, and a half-day Chauffeur-driven tour of Clew Bay and Achill Island.
