Maum, Clare Island, Co. Mayo (September 14th, 2026) – peacefully at her home surrounded by her loving family.
Predeceased by her husband John and son Seán.
Sadly missed and remembered with love by her sons Michael & Pat (Clare Island), Gerard (Holland), daughters Nora Burns (Clare Island), Mary McGreal (Knappagh, Westport), Kathleen O’Toole (Castlebar), Eileen Coyle (Castlebar), Elizabeth Heraty (Drummin), sons-in-law John McGreal, Pat Coyle & Pat Heraty, daughter-in-law Weis O’Toole, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, the extended O’Toole & Burns families, and many friends.
May She Rest In Peace.
Eilish will rest in repose at Sweeney’s Funeral Home, Louisburgh on Monday evening (September 14th) from 5:00pm, concluding with Vigil Prayers at 6:00pm, followed by removal to her home via the 6:45pm ferry from Roonagh Pier.
Reposing at her home in Maum from 9:30pm on Monday night, with removal at 6:00pm on Tuesday (September 15th) to the Church of the Sacred Heart, Clare Island.
Mass of Christian Burial on Wednesday at 11:30am, followed by interment in the adjoining cemetery.
