All-Ireland SHC winning manager Liam Cahill will work with a much-changed backroom team for the 2027 season.
In July it was announced that Cahill – who guided the Premier County to the Liam MacCarthy in 2025 – was to remain in place until 2029.
Their title defence didn’t go to plan with the side failing to get out of Munster last season and it will be a changed management team hoping to make amends next year.
Selectors Declan Laffan and TJ Ryan depart with Brian O’Meara and Sean O’Meara in place. Paul O’Brien will be a selector and offer coaching support with Aidan Stakelum also acting in a coaching support role.
Angelo Walsh also leaves and strength and conditioning coach position with Kilkenny man John Murphy now taking on that role.
Diarmuid Cahill, who recently stepped down as Longford boss, will be goalkeeping coach with Anne Marie Kennedy overseeing sports performance.
It had been revealed in July that David Herity had left the set-up to take on a role with his native Kilkenny.
