Caffè Vergnano has opened its first dedicated café in Ireland.  
The new coffee shop, owned and operated by local entrepreneur Shane Gleeson, brings the brand’s Italian coffee heritage and premium café experience to the heart of Limerick. 

Founded in 1882 and now led by fourth-generation family member Carolina Vergnano, Caffè  Vergnano has built an international reputation for expertly sourced and roasted coffee,  combining more than 140 years of Italian coffee expertise with a commitment to quality and sustainability. 

The new Limerick café has been designed as a welcoming destination for coffee lovers,  commuters, shoppers and visitors alike, offering expertly crafted espresso-based drinks,  signature coffee blends and a carefully curated café menu in a modern and inviting setting. 

The opening marks a significant milestone in the continued growth of Caffè Vergnano on the island of Ireland. The launch brings together more than 140 years of Caffè Vergnano’s Italian coffee heritage with Coca-Cola HBC Ireland and Northern Ireland’s market expertise and extensive hospitality network. 

Through their strategic partnership, Coca-Cola HBC helps grow the brand internationally while Caffè Vergnano retains its family-led identity and premium Italian positioning. 

The new café reflects the growing demand for premium coffee experiences across the island of Ireland and further reinforces Limerick’s reputation as a destination for high-quality hospitality and investment.
