Television personality Spencer Matthews and his Dublin-born wife, Vogue Williams, have welcomed their fourth child, with baby Remy joining the family earlier this month.
The couple are now parents to four children aged eight and under. The 38-year-old, who married Vogue in 2018, has opened up about the reality of adding another little one to the family, and the pressure that comes with having four young children under one roof.
While the family is based in England, they also have a home in the Howth area of Dublin. The former Made in Chelsea star has given a candid glimpse into the chaos of family life, describing what it is really like trying to keep on top of things while living in a rented home with four small children.
Speaking to Jamie Laing on the NewlyParents podcast, Spencer remarked: “Not complaining, we are in that lovely bubble with three other young kids in a rental house because we’re building our house. To be honest, the bubble feels a bit disturbed.
“Vogue and I, both in our own ways, feel a bit lonely at the moment. We have four kids, there has to be a system in place,” reports the Irish Mirror.

Expanding on the system, Spencer revealed: “There’s a lot going on in our house. Yesterday I had two calls in the afternoon, I left the office, had two calls in the afternoon from home. I’m trying to find somewhere in the house that didn’t look mad to take this call that didn’t have other people in it.”
Jamie enquired whether he could have handled the calls in the kitchen, to which his mate replied: “The kitchen? Are you mad.
“The kitchen’s the hub of the house. There’s always someone doing something in the kitchen.”
Spencer then described how, in an effort to maintain household harmony, he and Vogue are presently sleeping in separate beds.
He said: “For us both to have broken sleep is unhelpful to the rest of the family flow. So right now, the system is Vogue and the baby sleep in a big double bed on their own.

“And Vogue manages the night feeds, just her and the child. I sleep in the spare room, at the moment with both boys.”
Alongside newborn Remy, Spencer and Vogue are parents to Theodore, eight, Gigi, six and four year old Otto. Their circumstances are made more complex by residing in a rented property in London while their new permanent residence undergoes extensive work.
The family relocated from their longstanding Battersea flat at the beginning of this year and have obtained planning permission for substantial renovations on their London residence.
Meanwhile, Vogue and Spencer had a last-minute change of heart when it came to their new baby’s name. They had intended to call the child Elvis, but switched to Remy after they received calls from relatives.
She told the My Therapist Ghosted Me podcast: “We have changed our baby name – we have no name. I haven’t ever been 100% comfortable with it.”
