Two women in their 20s have been arrested after drugs worth €447,000 were seized in Co Dublin yesterday.
More than 5.5kg of cannabis worth an estimated €79,800 was seized by Revenue Customs Officers as part of a joint operation involving the Coolock District Drugs Unit and the Garda National Drugs and Organised Crime Bureau (GNDOCB).
During a follow up search, cocaine worth €368,000 along with drug paraphernalia as well as €27,900 in cash were seized by gardaí.
The women are being held at garda stations in north Dublin, with gardaí saying that investigations are ongoing.
