Vogue Williams teased fans for months after announcing her pregnancy, sharing that she was considering ‘mad’ baby names for her fourth child.
The TV personality and her hubby, Spencer Matthews, were previously parents to Theodore, Gigi, and Otto, before welcoming another son to the world.
Eventually, the couple settled on the name ‘Remy Valentine Matthews’ for their little one, but there was a whole host of unusual names considered beforehand and subsequently scrapped.

Speaking on her podcast, My Therapist Ghosted Me, with her best friend Joanne McNally, Vogue shared: ‘It was Rocky for a day, by the way! I loved it.’
The mum-of-four also admitted that ‘Elvis’ was considered because she thought it suited her newborn after seeing him for the first time.
‘We had no name. I was really furious about Elvis in the hospital because I was like, “Well, he’s come out, and he looks like Elvis, so this is awkward!” I knew that we couldn’t have Elvis.’

Vogue explained that their choice narrowed down to ‘Remy’ and ‘Rocky’, with her son being named ‘Rocky’ for the first day of his life.
‘For the whole day I was like, “No, he’s Rocky.” I’d set up his cot and stuff and named it Rocky; everything was Rocky.’ But she made a U-turn decision the following morning.
‘The next day, I left hospital, I woke up, and I said, “That’s not Rocky. Who is that? That’s not Rocky!”’

Vogue and Spencer left the hospital without a name for their newborn because they had a week to officially register their son.
‘Then I was like, “Actually, I love Remy!”, but I hated Remy two days before,’ she joked.
Vogue later revealed an extensive list of names she considered. At one point, she wanted to name him ‘Sonny Valentine’, but abandoned the idea after discovering there was a Hollyoaks character with the same name.

Vogue also considered the name ‘Fox’, but Spencer wasn’t having any of it. She explained: ‘Then I wanted him to be called Fox, and they were like, “Vogue, please, it’s in the same vein as Elvis, just don’t do this.”’
Another option was ‘Ailbe’, an Irish name which Vogue ruled out because she’d been told it’s used as a girl’s name in England, where they reside.
Other names she considered after finding them online included ‘Tiger’, ‘River’, ‘Buddy’, ‘Rocket’, and ‘Elvie’.

‘Jesus, listen to these! Tiger, River, Buddy, Rocket, Elvie, what the f*** was I on?’ she joked. ‘Well, I have plenty of dog names if anyone wants them!’
Vogue also revealed that ‘Lucky Bear’ had briefly been in the running, but Spencer quickly dismissed it. She said: ‘Spenny was like, “That’s a dog’s name. I’m not having it.” Plus it might be unlucky to call someone Lucky.’
Sharing parting words of wisdom, Vogue said: ‘If you’re having a baby, choose the name before [you give birth], because you’re not yourself after.’
