Empowering Minds opened its newest counseling office in Streator, and celebrated with a ribbon cutting from the Streator Chamber of Commerce.
The counseling service opened in June at 120 S. Sterling St. in the former Illinois American Water office, offering therapy to children, teens, adults, couples and families.
Adding to their office in Ottawa, along with secure telehealth, Empowering Minds helps people overwhelmed by anxiety, struggling with depression, healing from trauma, navigating relationship challenges or simply feeling stuck. Their mission is to provide compassionate, evidence-based care while helping people build the tools and confidence to move forward.
