The schedule is reportedly being planned in a way that allows the film to be wrapped by March next year, giving the team sufficient time for post-production.According to Mid-Day, a report states, “Aamir has a clear calendar in his head. The plan is to dive into Lalkaara from October, get the bulk of the shooting done by March, and have the film ready for December 2027 release, coinciding with the 75th anniversary of the 1952 Test series.”The December 2027 release would coincide with 75 years since the landmark Test series, adding significance to the film’s planned release window.
3 Idiots sequel could go on floors in April
Once ‘Lalkaara’ is substantially completed, Aamir could move on to the much-awaited sequel to Rajkumar Hirani’s 2009 film ‘3 Idiots’. The follow-up is currently in the writing stage, with reports suggesting that the final draft could be ready early next year.Aamir is reportedly keen to read the screenplay before committing to the next phase of production. The actor is expected to assess the draft around February, with an April 2027 start being considered if the script comes together as planned.
