CALL FOR APPLICATIONS
The Contemporary Music Centre Ireland (CMC), in partnership with the Embassy of Ireland in Paris, is coordinating a delegation of Irish artists, ensemble managers and promoters/producers to attend New Deal 2026 – the International Visitors Programme at the Philharmonie de Paris, 26–28 October 2026.
New Deal is organised by FEVIS and brings together 700+ European music professionals for curated speed-meetings and project pitches. Selected delegates will pitch Irish repertoire and projects directly into major French and European touring and programming networks.
This call is supported by Culture Ireland and the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade, with funding received under Cultúr 2026 – the Culture Programme for Ireland’s Presidency of the Council of the European Union 2026.
Support is available for delegates and can cover:
– Return travel to Paris (up to €300 per person)
– 3 nights’ accommodation (25-27 October)
– Subsistence (€150 per person – daily rate of €50 per day for three days)
– Access/registration for New Deal’s international programme
If applicants are attending through an organisation, applicants are asked whether they need full funding or can partially match-fund (e.g. through their own organisation). The panel will prioritise full funding for independent artists and professionals who need it most, so the support budget can stretch further across the delegation.
– Who can apply –
Open to professional artists, ensemble managers, promoters/producers/artistic directors, and presenting venues based on the island of Ireland, working across contemporary/experimental, classical, jazz and improvised music.
Applicants should:
– Have a proven international track record in presenting work
– Have work or projects that are genuinely export-ready for the French and European market
– Be able to demonstrate a clear plan for what you would pitch, to whom, and how you would follow up on contacts made
– How delegates are selected –
Applications will be assessed by a panel including CMC representative(s) along with an external peer assessor. The panel aims to curate a final delegation that is representative of the breadth, innovation and diversity of Ireland’s contemporary, classical and improvised music scenes, while prioritising equity of access.

Successful delegates notified: Monday 5 October 2026
Travel dates: 25–28 October 2026 (event runs 26–28 Oct at the Philharmonie de Paris)
