Ireland football legend Shay Given tied the knot with his long-term partner Rebecca Gibson in a ceremony fit for the royal family at Westminster Abbey.
The couple, who have been together for 13 years and share two daughters, wed on Saturday at the same venue as Prince William and Kate Middleton.
Their daughters Gracie, 10, Cassie, 9 as well as Shay’s daughter from his first marriage, Sienna, 19, all acted as bridesmaids on the special day.

Sharing the happy news alongside some stunning pictures of the ceremony, Shay and Becy had the simple caption of: “10.10.26 Westminster Abbey”.
Couples can only marry in Westminster Abbey with permission from both the royal family and the Archbishop of Canterbury. Rebecca’s grandfather is very closely connected to the monarchy, having been bestowed the honour of LVO (Lieutenant of the Victorian order).

The Very Reverend Dr David Hoyle presided over the special ceremony. Following the intimate ceremony, immediate family and close friends attended the reception at Cafe Royal in London.
Shay looked very dapper in a classic black tux with smart velvet suit jacket while Becky stunned in modest lace gown by designer Tom Sebastien.
Becky and Shay got engaged in 2015 while visiting Los Angeles. The two went on to welcome their first child in December of that year and they had their second daughter in 2017.
