A developer behind a failed IPAS application which sparked a 463 day protest at a former hotel site in Rosslare Harbour has stated that he has completely abandoned all plans to house asylum seekers there and is now firmly focused on the establishment of a hotel in the village.
Aidan Gallagher of Axis Construction Ltd said clearly: “I have no intention of turning it (the site) into an IPAS centre going forward.”
