Pete is irked by Doug’s attitude in Friday’s Fair City on RTÉ One and the RTÉ Player.
Pete promises a quick repair on a car for a regular garage customer, but Doug won’t play ball.
“I don’t think we should work on Sundays anymore,” says Doug.
“But we’re not working every Sunday – only when we have to,” Pete explains.
“Look, you need to learn to say no,” Doug tells his father. “Like, it’s easier once you start.”
“What are you talking about?” replies Pete. “Is this what your podcasts are telling you, how to say no to everything?”
“Not everything!” laughs Doug. “It’s about certain boundaries for yourself.”
Fans can find out what happens next on Friday on RTÉ One and the RTÉ Player at 7:30pm.
Fair City airs on RTÉ One and the RTÉ Player on Sundays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays.
