BEAVER DAM — A Beaver Dam financial advisor has earned national recognition for the second time.

Nick Schubert, a financial advisor with Edward Jones, has been named to the 2026 Forbes | SHOOK Best-in-State Next-Gen Wealth Advisors list, recognizing financial professionals age 40 and younger with at least four years of industry experience.

The annual ranking comes as the financial services industry prepares for a significant generational shift in wealth management. According to Cerulli Associates, an estimated $85 trillion is expected to transfer from Baby Boomers and the Silent Generation to their heirs over the next two decades.

At the same time, nearly 40% of financial advisors are expected to retire within the next decade, creating opportunities for younger professionals to serve the next generation of investors.

The 2026 Forbes | SHOOK Best-in-State Next-Gen Wealth Advisors list includes 2,172 advisors nationwide, collectively managing approximately $6.4 trillion in assets. New York leads with 237 advisors on the list, followed by California with 210.

The rankings, developed by SHOOK Research, consider factors including industry experience, revenue trends, assets under management, client retention and compliance records. The evaluation also includes qualitative information gathered through interviews with financial advisors.

The rankings are not based on investment performance, the quality of investment advice or direct client feedback.

Edward Jones serves more than 9 million clients across North America through a network of more than 20,000 financial advisors. The firm reported approximately $2.4 trillion in client assets under care as of March 27, 2026.
