Ireland’s beloved festive radio station Christmas FM will return on November 28, 2026.

Making its comeback to the FM frequencies on 28 November for its 19th season, Christmas FM will one again generate essential funding for youngsters and families throughout Ireland via The Magic of Christmas appeal. An Post, Cadbury and Coca-Cola are on board as the station’s primary sponsors this year.

The station will be broadcasting from its base at the Clayton Hotel Liffey Valley. Christmas FM is also relaunching its business sponsorship competition for Irish enterprises for a fourth consecutive year.

Available to companies of any scale, three recipients will secure a sponsorship arrangement spanning the Christmas FM network of radio stations and their affiliated station, Rewind Radio, worth €10,000 per business!

With the total prize value now raised to €30,000 this year, this recognises the vital contribution Irish enterprises make to communities nationwide while enabling winners to engage with Christmas FM’s dedicated seasonal listeners.

Garvan Rigby, Co-Founder of Christmas FM, said: “We’re delighted to welcome An Post, Cadbury and Coca-Cola back as our premier FM sponsors for 2026, as Christmas FM prepares to celebrate 19 years on air. Reaching this milestone is a wonderful achievement and a testament to the incredible support we receive from our sponsors, listeners, partners and dedicated team each year. We’re also hugely grateful to Clayton Hotel Liffey Valley for once again providing a home for our studios.”

We’re thrilled to bring back our digital sponsorship competition for a fourth year, with our biggest prize yet. Three lucky Irish businesses will each win a sponsorship package valued at €10,000 with Christmas FM. Supporting Irish businesses and the communities they’re part of is incredibly important to us, and we can’t wait to hear from businesses right across the country and select this year’s winners. With Christmas FM returning online and on DAB+ on November 1st, and back on FM on November 28th, we’re looking forward to spreading some festive cheer along the way.”

Some messages are worth more when you write them down. We’re delighted to renew our partnership with Christmas FM, a station that brings the true spirit of the season to life across the country. Whether it’s a handwritten note, a carefully chosen gift, or a simple card, An Post is here to help people share love and joy with family and friends near and far.”
