HSE South West encourages parents to avail of free flu vaccine for children

HSE South West is encouraging parents to ensure their children get a free flu vaccine.

The vaccine is administered by a nasal spray with no needles required, offering children aged 2–17 years effective protection against winter flu.

HSE South West say that the vaccine takes two weeks to reach maximum protection.
