Broadcaster Ryan Tubridy and Clare Kambamettu are expecting their first child together.

Turbridy, who married Kambamettu in December 2025, confirmed the news in an Instragram post.

“Thank you for the kind and thoughtful well wishes about our impending arrival, they mean a lot,” Tubridy said.

“We’re beyond excited and looking forward to a very busy 2027…Onwards.”

Tubridy met Kambamettu, a clinical psychologist and former Rose of Tralee, on his RTÉ radio show in early 2023. Their relationship developed through the spring and early summer of that year, through his 50th birthday and also his departure from The Late Late Show.

“It was an extraordinary test of a relationship. It was so difficult and, you know, she stuck around, and more,” Tubridy said of their relationship during the RTÉ payments scandal and his subsequent departure from the broadcaster.

The former Late Late Show host has two daughters from his previous marriage to Anne-Marie Power.
