Marketing Manager • Raising Cane’s Chicken Fingers
Erin Credo has spent 18 years helping a Baton Rouge restaurant brand grow around the world while keeping its community relationships close to home.
As a Raising Cane’s marketing manager, she helps lead grassroots efforts in Louisiana, building partnerships that sustain support for nonprofits annually. Her work pairs brand-building with an instinct for what people need.
That combination produced Junior Gumbo, a program she conceived that earned Activation of the Year recognition from the New Orleans Saints in 2018. When the pandemic changed the assignment, she pivoted to help manage Cane’s COVID-19 task force, supporting efforts to keep crew members working and the company engaged with its communities.
Her civic work includes developing and launching the Baton Rouge Diaper Bank, alongside a decade of Junior League service. She also runs a freelance marketing business helping companies grow.
The best business advice I’d share: “The lion doesn’t have to roar. Put your head down, listen, stay engaged, work hard and don’t wait around for a pat on the back every time you do something well. Find your fulfillment in the work itself—that’s the kind of pride nobody can take away from you.”
Something my colleagues would be surprised to learn: “I won the math award my senior year of high school, I made the Daily Mail before Todd Graves, and I love paint by numbers.”
