An investigation has been launched after a dead dolphin was discovered on a south Donegal beach this week.
A member of the public came across the dead mammal washed up close to the lifeguard station on Rossnowlagh Beach yesterday evening.
It’s believed that it was brought in by the tide and it’s currently unknown what the dolphin died from.
The Irish Whale and Dolphin Group has been notified.
