A “frustrated” Séamus Coleman says he had a point to prove to those who doubted his ability at international level when he made his return to the fold in Saturday’s World Cup qualifier in Portugal.
And the Everton veteran has called on his teammates to deliver the same levels of effort in tomorrow’s must-win qualifier at home to Armenia, where dropped points for the Ireland would end even faint hopes of World Cup qualification via a play-off and put further scrutiny on manager Heimir Hallgrimsson.
