English actress Joan Collins had a big reason to celebrate on Oct. 12, as her daughter Tara turned 62 years old.
In honor of the special day, the 92-year-old posted a bunch of photos of Tara over the years, starting with a recent snap of Collins and Tara smiling together in complementary outfits.
In the picture, the Dynasty star looked dressed for a stylish vacation, wearing a loose black and white shirt with wavy stripes all over, white shorts, matching white shoes with a black tip and a sunhat. She completed the look with dangling earrings, a necklace and sunglasses.
By her side, her eldest child wore a black maxi dress with a geometric pattern on the edges. She wore her hair in a high bun with some gold necklaces, large hoop earrings, and a variety of bracelets. It’s unclear where the mother-daughter duo were in the photo.
The next two photos showed Tara in happy moments, with Collins then adding another photo of herself with her daughter, glammed up at a restaurant. The star also included a photo of Tara with her two children, Miel and Weston, who are Collins’ grandchildren.
To conclude the trip down memory lane, Collins revealed a rare childhood photo of Tara. In the photo, Tara’s father, singer-songwriter Anthony Newley, held her as a baby while he and Collins kissed Tara on her cheeks.
Collins wrote in the caption, “Wishing my beautiful talented warm-hearted #daughter @t.c.arkle a very #happybirthday today 😘🎉🎂🥳🎈🎊🎁.”
Tara responded to Collins’ birthday tribute in the comments, writing, “Thank you Mamma!! I love you SO MUCH!!! ❤️.”

Fans quickly filled the comments with birthday wishes and compliments for both Tara and Collins.
“Elegant & beautiful just like her mum. Happy birthday, have fun & great day,” wrote one fan, while a similar comment read, “Happy birthday to Tara🎂♥️dear Joan♥️May your celebration be an unforgettable mother-daughter moment.”

Along with Tara, Collins and Newley welcomed a son named Alexander in 1965. Collins also had a third child, a daughter named Katyana, known as “Katy,” with her third husband, Ron Kass, in 1972.
