Wedding bells may soon be ringing for Jennifer Aniston. A source tells Star that the 56-year-old is already talking about marriage with boyfriend Jim Curtis — and has her heart set on tying the knot with the hypnotherapist in a dreamy Mediterranean paradise.
“Jim has become a ray of sunshine in Jen’s life and with him comes the chance to finally do it right: a wedding in Greece with their closest friends,” says the source, adding that Jen loves the idea of exchanging vows overlooking the Aegean Sea. “It’s like something out of a romance novel, but that’s where Jen’s head is at as this relationship intensifies. She can’t help herself.”

The nation holds a special place in Jen’s heart. Her late father, John Aniston (born Yannis Anastassakis), spent the first two years of his life on the island of Crete.
“She actually lived there when she was a kid for about a year and she’s gone back many times to visit,” shares the source. “She loves it.” So much so, Jen was seriously considering having her 2015 wedding to ex Justin Theroux in Greece, the source reveals. “They even went on a scouting trip.”
However, the former couple ultimately decided to wed at their Bel Air, Calif., home. “At the time, Jen was really torn,” the source says. “But now she’s so glad they made that choice because she feels like Jim’s the one she’s always been waiting for.” It’s especially apt considering Jim’s ex Alyssa Pettinato recently confirmed to Daily Mail that the 49-year-old shares Jen’s Greek heritage, noting the “culture is strong.”
I Do Redo
Jen’s 2000 wedding to Brad Pitt was a lavish, star-studded affair. The big day took place at a private Malibu estate before 200 people, and the clifftop ceremony — complete with 50,000 flowers and a 13-minute fireworks display — is rumored to have cost them $1 million. When Jen married Justin, 54, it was much cozier, with just 70 of their closest friends and family at the casual backyard nuptials. This time around though, Jen is determined to have things even more intimate. “Jen doesn’t need a big spectacle,” explains the source. “She just wants her core group,” including bestie Courteney Cox and her longtime partner, Johnny McDaid, Jason Bateman and his wife, Amanda Anka, and Jimmy Kimmel and his wife, Molly McNearney.

All this talk about wanting to marry Jim has come as a surprise to some, admits the source. After all, in a 2022 interview with Allure, the Friends alum stated that she didn’t “have any interest” in walking down the aisle again. A year later, Jen doubled down, telling The Wall Street Journal that she “didn’t like the idea of sacrificing who you were or what you needed” for a relationship. That no longer seems to be the case.
In addition to their shared Greek heritage, the compatible couple also share a love of all things spiritual and wellness. “It’s no wonder Jen’s changing her tune,” the source says. “She and Jim really are such a great match.”
Third Time’s A Charm
No one is happier that Jen’s found love again than her friends. “It’s wonderful for them to see her with someone who truly gets her,” says the source. “Jim’s compassionate, well-educated and very charming. Plus, he has a real kindness and no airs like so many of her previous partners.” Even Jen’s dogs adore him, adds the source, “which for Jen is the ultimate endorsement.”
The Morning Show star also finds it “refreshing” to be with someone outside of the Hollywood scene, continues the source. “A relatively normal boyfriend is what she’s come to realize is what she needs at this stage in her life, and Jim checks that box for her just perfectly.”

Still, having been divorced twice before, “Jen’s trying not to get ahead of herself,” adds the source. “She’s acutely aware that it would be foolhardy to jump into things too fast.” At the same time, “she’s going with her gut and it’s telling her that Jim is the man of her dreams,” the source says. And the life coach and author feels the same way about her. “Jim hasn’t popped the question yet, but he’s not been shy about saying he sees a future with Jen,” hints the source. “She deserves her happy ending… and as long as things continue as they are, it seems pretty certain that a third wedding for Jen is in the cards.”
