It was another eventful episode in the Big Brother UK house as fans seemed to have determined who’s playing the long game to get to the final.

As the fake eviction twist looms just around the corner for Sam and Nancy, Caroline tried to keep the mood light with some comments that backfired.

Viewers didn’t fail to notice Caroline’s “inappropriate” comments to fellow housemate Elsa, who was quizzed about her romance with Marcus.

In the morning, Caroline had a bizarre opening line for Elsa, asking her if she had sex the previous night as her skin was “glowing”.

“No, why would you say that?” Elsa replied as Caroline insisted for Elsa to “look at [her] face”.

Speaking with Jenny and Teja later on, Elsa said she couldn’t “believe” Caroline would ask such a question.

“Again, that’s just Caroline, isn’t it?” Elsa then said.

“Don’t know why I’m glowing, maybe because I’m in love,” she joked.

Taking to social media, Big Brother fans deemed Caroline a “player” for presenting herself as the “entertaining housemate”.

“I know Caroline is trying to stir the pot but that was weird as f**k to say to Elsa,” one fan wrote on Twitter/X.

“I reckon she’s the biggest game player in there. Now she’s safe for two weeks, she’s trying to cause chaos and get the public on side as an ‘entertaining housemate’.”

“Caroline is so inappropriate asking if Elsa had sex because her skin is glowing? Wtf,” someone else noted.

A third person pointed out how Caroline has “no filter”.

“Why would she go up to Elsa and ask if she’s had sex? Caroline has no filter whatsoever,” they wrote.

Later on, Caroline continued putting Elsa and Marcus on the spot as the housemates showcased their talent in a contest proposed by Teja.

During the night, which saw Zelah doing his best Simon Cowell impression, Caroline was on hosting duties. When introducing Elsa and Marcus, who were performing together, Caroline said: “We’ve got a beautiful couple that have found love.”

Marcus reacted to Caroline’s introduction and said, “Woah. L.O.V.E?”, which Elsa, and viewers at home, immediately noticed.

“Caroline sure is pushing the Elsa and Marcus narrative,” one person posted on Twitter/X, while someone else noted that Caroline is “obsessed’ with the couple.

In the Snug, Elsa opened up to Marcus about his “sassy” reaction to Caroline’s comments.

“Love, for me, is a really strong word and I don’t like to use that word lightly,” Marcus said.

When Elsa pointed out that “someone else” used the word, Marcus replied: “If that word’s getting used, then I wanna be the one to say it.”

“It’s not Caroline’s place to say whether we’re in love or not.”
