Gardaí are currently at a residence in Co Carlow where a suspect device has been discovered
Gardaí have been called to a residence in Co Carlow following the discovery of a suspect device this afternoon, Thursday, October 16.
The device was found at a residence in Kernanstown in Co Carlow with gardaí currently at the scene.
A cordon has been established and the assistance of the Defence Forces Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) Unit has been requested.
A garda spokesperson said that there is no further information available at this time.
