Coronation Street’s Theo Silverton and Todd Grimshaw finally move into their own place next week – but with Theo’s manipulations just beginning, will the move only serve to isolate Todd further from his friends and family?
As the couple excitedly start their next chapter in the corner shop flat, their alone time is interrupted when Todd’s close friend and mentor George Shuttleworth calls round with some celebratory beers for the boys…

“Harmless George just wants to do something nice for the seemingly happy couple, but Theo isn’t pleased with his uninvited appearance,” reveals our Coronation Street source.
“When Todd asks George to sit down and stay for a drink, Theo can’t hide his disapproving scowl. He feels as though George has outstayed his welcome, and it’s clear he wants Todd all to himself.
“It seems like distancing Todd from Billy isn’t enough for Theo, he needs him to stay away from everyone else too.”

Later, Theo has a child custody meeting with Danielle over access to his teenage children Miles and Millie, as he vows to do anything in his power to secure his position in their lives.
When he returns home and finds the flat in a mess, he sternly tells Todd that he fears that if ex-wife Danielle saw their new pad, she’d deem it unsuitable for the kids and bitterly use it against him in court…
“Theo’s determined to see his kids, but instead of appreciating his boyfriend’s support, he takes his rage out on Todd,” our insider continues.
“They’ve only just moved in and haven’t had the chance to tidy up yet, but miserable Theo’s already moaning on. Poor Todd’s head over heels for him though, so he decides to do something special for him while Theo goes out…”

In a bid to help out his boyfriend, Todd invites Billy Mayhew, George and Brian Packham round to help him clean up and get the flat looking spick and span.
After hours hard at work, the group celebrate by popping open some party snacks and having a boogie to some music – just as volatile Theo returns home…

“The gang are only having a harmless sausage roll and sing song, but Theo doesn’t see it that way,” our source warns. “He glowers as he takes in the party.
“Things could look seriously bad for Todd now that he and Theo will be spending most of their time together, as it doesn’t seem as though Theo’s keen on Todd’s mates being round at all. He wants Todd to be totally dependent on him…”
With the couple left alone in their new home, will Theo continue to isolate and manipulate Todd behind closed doors?
