Scarlett and Tamsin Allen, both 16, are cousins and great-granddaughters of Myrtle Allen. They are in school together in East Cork and live with their parents, ­Rachel and Isaac Allen (Scarlett), and Cullen and Bree Allen (Tamsin).

Scarlett: I’m going into fifth year in Middleton College. I live in East Cork by the sea. Very close to Tamsin.
