Blockbuster line-up for Dunfanaghy Jazz & Blues this weekend

The vibrant seaside village of Dunfanaghy will come alive once again with the smooth sounds of saxophones, soulful blues riffs, and electrifying live performances as the Dunfanaghy Jazz & Blues Festival returns from Thursday 11th to Sunday 15th September 2025.

This much-loved festival is now a highlight of the Donegal music calendar, drawing thousands of music lovers each year to enjoy over 60 free gigs in pubs, cafés, hotels, and outdoor venues across the village.

From seasoned international acts to Ireland’s best up-and-coming jazz and blues artists, this year’s line-up promises something for everyone — whether you’re a die-hard jazz aficionado or simply looking to soak up the infectious atmosphere of live music by the sea.

One of the Festival organisers, Aisling Arnold, said: “We’re incredibly proud to be bringing back such a high-calibre weekend of music to Dunfanaghy. The festival is a real celebration of the community spirit here, and every year it grows stronger. We’ve got a phenomenal line-up for 2025, and we can’t wait to welcome locals and visitors alike for what’s set to be another unforgettable weekend.”

As always, all gigs are free to attend, and the festival is supported by the local business community, volunteers, and venues that open their doors (and their stages!) to make the event possible.

Visitors can also enjoy delicious local food, artisan markets, and the warm Donegal welcome that keeps people coming back year after year.
