Fáilte Ireland hosted four targeted workshops to support Irish tourism businesses in securing high-value leisure and luxury travel contracts last week.

The workshops were part of a targeted sales drive by Fáilte Ireland giving Irish tourism businesses the opportunity to pitch directly to 28 top Irish luxury and leisure tour operators and destination management companies for future business.

The first workshop took place at the College Green Hotel, Dublin, bringing a total of 160 accommodation providers and experience operators from across Ireland face to face with these influential luxury and leisure operators.

Over the course of the week, further workshops were held at Killaloe, Cashel and Tralee, with participants engaging in more than 2,800 one-to-one meetings by the end of the week.

‘Commercial Potential’

“By facilitating direct engagement between tourism businesses and key operators in the luxury and leisure travel market, we are helping enterprises across Ireland to compete more effectively and grow their commercial potential,” said Paul Mockler, head of commercial development at Fáilte Ireland.

“These workshops are a practical step in supporting the sector to deliver high-quality experiences that can drive long-term growth for Ireland’s tourism sector.”

Direct Insight

In addition to the formal meetings, operators visited each region to gain direct insight into the experiences available to their clients.

These workshops form part of Fáilte Ireland’s wider strategy to support tourism businesses in developing commercially viable partnerships and securing future bookings for the 2026 travel season and beyond.
