POPULAR Limerick Traitors stars Paudie and Andrew Moloney will return to Irish screens this week as they join the cast of Gogglebox Ireland.

They will be joined by Paudie’s daughter Aoife, in what has been dubbed “the ultimate Moloney family takeover.”

The trio from Kilmallock will appear as special guests on Gogglebox Ireland tomorrow night. The news comes after it was reported that the show has signed a huge deal for more seasons.

The internet has already crowned Paudie ‘The Paud-Father’ after his time plotting and scheming in The Traitors Ireland, while Andrew made headlines of his own when he let “Daddy” slip on screen. Now, the pair are back on our screens, swapping their cloaks and conspiracy for cushions and TV commentary.

Commenting on joining Gogglebox Ireland, Paudie said:

“I’m really looking forward to doing Gogglebox, it’s always a real favourite in our house. Watching telly and eating biscuits with my children Aoife and Andrew without having to wear a cloak, hug a stranger or plot a murder will be a lovely relaxing change from my last time on telly!”

Paudie is also busy preparing for his stint on stage in the 3Olympia Theatre’s Christmas panto Olly Goes to Oz alongside Al Porter and James Patrice.

The new episode of Gogglebox Ireland airs on Wednesday at 9pm on Virgin Media One and Virgin Media Player.
