PwC Ireland has partnered with non-profit Junior Achievement Ireland (JAI) for the Tech We Can programme to help young girls explore a career in technology.

Tech We Can is a free programme that was developed by the Tech She Can charity to encourage young people and particularly girls to explore technology-related subjects and careers.

Since 2022, PwC Ireland has been delivering the Tech We Can programme, providing inspiration, resources and role models to over 1,400 students.

With Junior Achievement Ireland, PwC will extend its reach in DEIS schools, and the partnership is aligned closely with PwC’s Inclusion First and Social Impact strategies.

Tech We Can programme is one of the initiatives run by PwC Ireland as part of its Women in Tech network, which has a mission to empower, educate and mentor women as they develop their careers in technology.

“We are delighted to strengthen our relationship with JAI which spans over 25 years, marking a milestone in our fourth year of delivering the Tech We Can programme,” said Enda McDonagh, managing partner of PwC Ireland.

“It reflects our deep commitment to driving equality beyond PwC and underpins our Inclusion First and Social Impact Strategies. We know the future of work will be shaped by technology – and that future must be built by everyone.

“Through this partnership, our goal is to ensure that women are equal contributors in building that future. By building a community and support networks, we aim to guide women in tech, helping them navigate challenges, build confidence and access valuable resources and opportunities.”

Aoibheann Doyle-Mulhare, spokesperson for JAI, said: “Junior Achievement Ireland is proud to build on our long-standing partnership with PwC—spanning over 25 years—to bring the Tech We Can programme to more students across Ireland.

“This collaboration is a powerful example of what’s possible when industry and education come together to inspire the next generation.

“By reaching students, particularly girls, in DEIS schools with relatable role models and real-world tech experiences, we’re helping them see a future where they belong in technology.

AITech We Can is designed to encourage more young girls to work in tech.

“Together with PwC, we’re not just opening doors—we’re building pathways to confidence, ambition, and opportunity in the digital world.

“We are excited to see the impact that our partnership with PwC can have on the future of the tech landscape in Ireland.”
