Nine senior internationals have been included in the Ireland XV squad for their upcoming game with Spain in Leganes.
Hooker Tom Stewart will captain the side, having already won five test caps for Ireland, as one of 10 Ulster players in the 28-strong selection.
Fellow internationals Tom O’Toole, Michael Milne, Darragh Murray, Robert Baloucoune, Harry Byrne, Shayne Bolton, Michael Lowry and Ben Murphy are also included.
Cullie Tucker, the squad’s head coach, was part of the Ireland coaching team for the summer meetings with Georgia and Portugal, which took place while some Irish players were involved with the Lions tour of Australia.
There are six players from Connacht, five from Munster with seven Leinster players making up the squad.
The game is set to take place at the Estadio Municipal de Butarque on Saturday 8 November with a 4pm kick off, Irish time.
