Garda Supt Gavin O’Reilly
A garda superintendent threatened to get a Dublin gay bar “shut down”, racially abused a bouncer and aggressively smacked the pub manager’s phone from her hand as she recorded him, it is alleged.
Gavin O’Reilly was on a night out with friends in the bar when he was asked to leave, but returned and told the manager she would “never work again” before assaulting her, she told a court. The woman also alleged Mr O’Reilly’s fists were clenched, his teeth were bared and he called her a “bitch” and a doorman a “black bastard.”
