Disgraced player convicted over sex attack in France dropped after huge furore greeted his signing

An ex-Ireland rugby star convicted of failing to prevent a gang rape has been dropped by his local club in Tyrone after his signing was widely criticised.
Days after it was revealed governing body Ulster Rugby was working with the Irish Rugby Football Union (IRFU) to block Clogher Valley RFC signing Chris Farrell, the club confirmed he was no longer registered with them.
