All roads led to Dingle this month for the eagerly anticipated finals of Blas na hÉireann, The Irish Food Awards, now in their 18th year and firmly established as the largest and most influential food awards on the island of Ireland.
This year, 14 producers from Co. Monaghan were shortlisted across a wide range of categories.
Foraged & Infused was awarded Best in Co Monaghan.
The local gin company also scooped up a gold for its slow gin, while the popular rhubarb gin which claimed victory last year walked away with a silver award.
Local gin producer Kevin Redmond said he was “blown away” by the success of both his products this year.
