So reveals Limerick lad Conor Phillips, who’s fallen head over heels with Dubliner Megan Forte Clarke.

The couple found each other on the recent series of the hit dating show and Conor (25) confirms plans are afoot for them to move in together.

He and Megan (24) recently partied in the capital – Megan hails from Finglas on the northside, but spends most of her time either with her mum near Harold’s Cross on the city’s southside or in her UK base of Brighton and for work in nearby London.

Conor, who currently lives in Templeogue in south Dublin, grew up in Limerick and is keen to show Megan his hometown.

“I have been in Brighton for the first time in the last few weeks and I love it,” he tells the Sunday World.

“You see everything and anything there, it’s very diverse, it’s right up my street.

“She studied there, so that’s why she has been living there.”

Closer

“I think the plan is eventually to be closer together. When that is, we don’t know, because we are both settling into the new routine.

“Once things settle down I think we’ll be looking to move a bit closer together, if not together.”

There seems to be something in the water in Limerick’s Crescent College Comprehensive as not only did Conor go to school there but so too did 2019 Love Island winner Greg O’Shea.

“He was in sixth year and I was in first year,” explains Conor. “ He was the star boy in school. I used to remember watching him play rugby and then we actually played together in the Irish Sevens.

“I think it’s already out there that I had spoken to him before. I didn’t realise we weren’t meant to do that.”

“I didn’t really tell many people, so I was kind of dealing with it all by myself. So, I reached out to Greg because he’s from a similar background, he went on it, he did well, and he was just like ‘look man, this is tough, this is tough, this is tough’.

“But ultimately it was one of the best things I ever did. You stay true to yourself, be yourself, gain so much from it in terms of growth, friendship and I have a girlfriend now. I did gain from it.”
