Irish singer and songwriter CMAT performed her song Take A Sexy Picture Of Me from her new album, Euro-Country on Jimmy Kimmel Live last night, making her US television debut.

Taking to Instagram ahead of the performance, the Meath woman posted: “The ‘AT’ in ‘CMAT’ stands for American Telly here we are now girls! going on the telly tomorrow shtateside and feeling really normal about it!”

Stylist and costume designer Mia Maxwell fitted CMAT and her band – Púca, Jack Walter, and Holly Carpenter – over FaceTime in what she lovingly described as “silly little outfits” that she sourced from ASOS.

Using Matrimony by Irish singer Gilbert O’Sullivan as a reference, CMAT’s look was a mix of 1970s Irish knitwear and 2025 pop star chic.

O’Sullivan, who achieved fame in the early 1970s, was known for playing piano while wearing quintessentially Irish pieces such as flat caps and casual knitwear.

To honour the Waterford singer, she wore a flat cap along with a brown, pleated mini skirt paired with electric blue boots and a mohair vest decorated in eye-catching charms.

The band’s ensembles included the same mini skirts paired with what can only be described as brown school socks and shoes.

Brown shirts were overlaid with mohair vests with autumnal shades of orange, brown, and blue running through them.

To perfect the look, a skinny orange tie with while polka dots and brown flat caps were added as the pièce de résistance.
