As gardaí continue to investigate all circumstances surrounding the discovery of a man found unresponsive on a street in West Gate, Carrick-on-Suir, one Tipperary county councillor has said the local community has gone “through the ringer” in recent weeks and has hit out at people who have circulated a video of this latest incident.
Speaking about details that have emerged since the man was discovered at around 2.30am on Tuesday morning, Cllr David Dunne told the Irish Independent: “He seems to be from an Eastern European background and he seems to have lived in Carrick for a number of years.”
