Two new Taco Bell restaurants are set to open at Applegreen service stations by the end of the year.

The popular fast food chain opened its doors in Ireland earlier this year, when they opened in the Applegreen on Junction 6 of the M3 in Dunshaughlin, Co Meath.

Now, Applegreen have announced that the fast food chain are heading to two more Applegreen locations, creating 60 more jobs by the end of the year.

The Applegreen on the M1 Lusk Northbound in Dublin, and the Applegreen at Ballincollig in Cork, have been confirmed as the service stations which will have the Taco Bells, with both locations also undergoing a huge refurbishment which will include new M&S Food shop-in-shop outlets as well as a new Crafted Kitchen and Deli operations at each site.

A new Braeburn cafe will also be opening on the site at Lusk.

‘Our goal is to offer our customers passionate roadside hospitality by partnering with brands such as Taco Bell and Marks & Spencer, as well as enhancing our own brand offering with Braeburn Café, and Crafted. These enhancements are sure to delight our customers and provide an even better experience.’

Applegreen will be bringing the first five Taco Bell outlets in Ireland to its locations, having opened its first location in Dunshaughlin, Co Meath back in September.

The petrol station operator invests up to €50m annually into Irish businesses, and also have plans on the continued expansion of their Braeburn Café business and their partnership with M&S Food.

The Taco Bell in the Dunshaughlin service came as part of the building of the service station as a whole, which is part of Applegreen’s €1billion plan to expand its business in Ireland, the UK and the US over the next five years.
