Celtic close the gap on Hearts after the Bhoys hammer Kilmarnock 4-0 at Parkhead.
The build-up to the big game was dominated by Celtic’s banning of the Green Brigade as the Parkhead board’s relationship with supporters breaks down.
However, Martin O’Neill’s side never seemed to let that bother them as Celtic beat Kilmarnock comfortably to close the gap to seven points at the top of the Scottish Premiership table.
But as Celtic dominated Kilmarnock, Martin O’Neill delivers his honest verdict after the 4-0 win keeps Kilmarnock’s miserable run of results going.

The Celtic boss was clearly delighted as the Bhoys hammered Kilmarnock and was then quizzed if he will still be at Parkhead after the international break.
O’Neill told Celtic TV, “That’s a very good point. I genuinely don’t know what’s going to happen. It is a fortnight, a fortnight in my life seems a really long time.
“I’m going to just take maybe a couple of days myself, reflect on the fortnight that I’ve had, in the sense of a whirlwind time, maybe just time to settle down, maybe keep the heart rate down a little bit and just reflect on that.
“But yeah, and listen, if the board make a decision in the next two weeks with a new manager well, I’ve had the time of my life.”
When Celtic next face Hearts
With the international break upon Celtic, we decided to look ahead to see when the Bhoys next face Hearts with just seven points separating the pair.
Celtic face Hearts at Parkhead on the 7th of December as the Tynecastle club will be left reeling at dropping two points at home against Dundee United.
Martin O’Neill still has to ensure Celtic negotiate games against St Mirren, Hibs and Dundee before Hearts come calling if he’s still in charge of the Bhoys in two weeks’ time.
