Connacht SFC quarter-final  

Moycullen 1-20 Shamrock Gaels 1-09 (Result)

Despite only leading by six points at the break, a big second-half from Galway champions Moycullen saw them advance past Shamrock Gaels. Dessie Conneely provided the punch with 1-10 to his name, with fellow corner-forward Fionn MacDonnacha registering 0-4. 

Ulster SFC quarter-finals 

Scotstown 2-16 Naomh Conaill 0-16 (Result)

Credit where it’s due, Naomh Conaill trailed 2-06 to 0-02 midway through the first-half but they stuck at it. It wasn’t enough to restore parity, but Scotstown hung on to win by six and face the winners of Madden vs Sean O’Leary’s Newbridge. 

Munster SFC quarter-final  

Éire Óg 0-20 Rathgormack 1-13 (Result)

Ennis weathered the storm in the end with Rathgormack’s remarkable season over in the last-eight. Mark McInerney kept up his scoring rate in the second-half and ended the game with 0-16 in his account.
