Hollyoaks’ Donny Clark will be forced to confront a dark secret from his past in a new blackmailing storyline.
The police officer recently cheated on fiancée Misbah Maalik with Clare Devine-Banks. After Clare’s attempts to blackmail Donny fail, she turns to her grandfather Froggy Black, who insists he can take care of it.

In scenes airing next week, Froggy assures his granddaughter he has some dirt on Donny he will use so the policeman will destroy the evidence against her and Grace.
We’ll have to wait and see what Donny’s secret is, but it has the potential to tear his family apart.

Later on, Donny finds DI Bolton’s security pass at Jez Blake’s allotment.
The detective was killed by Jez in previous scenes, though the serial killer made it look like his daughter Sienna was responsible.
Learning it was Bolton’s pass that was used to get in the evidence room, Dodger Savage is convinced Sienna must be behind the fire.

Previously speaking about his character, Donny star Louis Emerick hinted at an old acquaintance making a dramatic reappearance in the policeman’s life, with all clues pointing to Froggy.
“There is maybe somebody from his past…” he told Digital Spy at this year’s Inside Soap Awards. “Maybe things might be getting resurrected there and we’ll see what happens there.”
These scenes will air next week.
Hollyoaks airs on Mondays-Wednesdays with its Channel 4 streaming premiere at 7am, then an E4 broadcast the same night at 7pm. Full episodes are also released on YouTube a week after their Channel 4 release.
